About causAbock
The “centro analítico de urgencias subjetivas (A)ctuales”, causAbock, was founded with the intention of promoting the study and transmission of psychoanalysis in a free manner and as a place for singularity.
It is a space where the oeuvre of Freud, the teachings of Lacan and Miller, and other great psychoanalysts are read and studied. A place that welcomes diverse discourses, such as psychiatry, philosophy, mythology, literature, and the social and political sciences, and serves as their meeting point. This is based on the fundamental premise that psychoanalysis exists from the singularity of subjects.
Psychoanalysis, as Jacques-Alain Miller says: “the art of the one by one” (…) “not the one by one of enumeration, but of the restitution of the unique in its singularity“, can serve as a refuge for the subject in a world in which such space is increasingly reduced and where the subjects of the average, the countable, the homogenisable prevail.
